The Funeral
Consumers Alliance of San Antonio was established in 1948 as
the San Antonio Memorial Society. We are an all-volunteer,
non-profit consumer and educational organization that offers
guidance to members in making preliminary funeral and burial
arrangements.
Our
chief goal is to educate the public to the availability of
dignified and less expensive burial and/or cremation
arrangements. We are affiliated with the national Funeral
Consumers Alliance, Inc., formerly The
Funeral and Memorial Societies of America, Inc.
The Board of Directors serve
without compensation. The Board is elected by the members at
the annual meeting in March.
